He returned to Dundalk in 1948, working on construction for the Seeley Bros. Later, he drove a cement truck for Seeley & Arnill until 1977 when he retired early due to health problems. In 1947 he married Elenore Scace. The couple had three sons - Ronald, Donald and Wayne, and 1 daughter, Sharon, all of which survive. He is also survived by two brothers, Cliff and Bill, and a sister, Marguerite. Jack was predeceased by his father in 1933 and his mother in 1987. A complete funeral service was held at the McMillan and Jack Funeral Home, Dundalk, on November 23, 1989, under the direction of Rev. Lloyd Martin of Dundalk United Church.
