After moving from their farm on Concession 6 in Melancthon Township into Riverview, Elizabeth continued to raise a few pigs and chickens and geese for their own use as a means of food. She also kept a cow for milking.
Both John A. and Elizabeth are buried at the Shelburne Cemetary.

I am working on my family tree, and just for fun I "googled" a name and found the names of some of my relatives on your website. My maternal grandfather was John James ("Jack") McLaren. His brother was Harry McLaren (born July 23, 1916, died January 20, 1975, who married Helen Snider on July 15, 1941 in Owen Sound, Ontario. Jack and Harry's father, Richard McLaren was born in Owen Sound on Mach 30, 1874. Although I grew up in Toronto, Ontario, I now coincidentally live in Dundalk, Ontario which is about an hour south of Owen Sound, and I have actually taken my mother up to Owen Sound to see a lot of the grave sites. I have all the dates for Harry McLaren, but I don't have a birth date for Helen Snider or a date of death (if she is in fact deceased - I guess she could still be alive).
Also, I don't have any information about their children or grandchildren other than the names from your website, and my mom thinks that maybe some of them may still live up near Owen Sound. I would love to get in touch with them and maybe meet them.
